A Construction Project Manager for contract projects will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects within a specified timeframe and budget. Their role involves coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and oversee contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor expenses and ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team, resolving conflicts and ensuring efficiency.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on project status.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Skills
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in contract-based construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction software and project management tools.
  • Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) can be advantageous.
